The Taxpayer Advocate Service developed the following Affordable Care Act (ACA) estimators to assist taxpayers. Whether you are an individual or employer, these self-help tools are available to the public to assist with complex ACA requirements.

Keep in mind that the estimators only provide estimates, rather than accurate calculations, and should only be used as a guide when making decisions regarding your tax situation.

Employer Shared Responsibility Provision Estimator

The Taxpayer Advocate Service developed the Employer Shared Responsibility Provision (ESRP) Estimator to help employers understand how the provision works and learn how the provision may apply to them.

The provision applies to applicable large employers – generally, that means employers that had an average of at least 50 full-time employees (including full-time equivalent employees – FTEs), during the preceding calendar year.
