National Taxpayer Advocate Erin M. Collins recently sat down to speak with Ryan Minnick, the Chief Operating Officer of the Federation of Tax Administrators (FTA) and host of the FTA Tax Breaks podcast.  

During the conversation Collins talks about her journey to the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS), her work as the “voice” of the taxpayer at the IRS, shares information about how taxpayers can work with TAS, breaks down the most pressing issues facing taxpayers, and highlights the importance of protecting taxpayer rights and improving customer service and tax administration.
